I hope the questions focus more on “Why you believe xyz” as opposed to “what do you believe.”
Cause, frankly, I don’t care what they believe. I want to know their method. How do they decide what facts are? Do they just go with their gut (“truthiness”) or a voice in their head? Do they look for evidence? Do they look for what the majority of experts think; and if they follow a minority, why do they do that?
I’m ready for science to be involved in politics again. For real. You know, the facts. No more of this pseudo-I-can-ignore-20+years-of-evidence-because-of-a-news-article crap.
